Efficienex LLC ("Efficienex," "we," "us," or "our") operates Revyu (getrevyu.com) and other software products. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Important — SMS opt-in information is never sold, shared, or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers and consent records collected through Revyu are used exclusively to deliver messages you or your service provider have authorized.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account information: Business name, owner name, business address, business phone, email address, password (encrypted).
- Payment information: Processed and stored securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
- Customer contact data: If you are a Revyu business owner, you may add your customers' names, phone numbers, email addresses, and appointment details for the purpose of sending appointment reminders and review requests.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, browser type, IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies: Used for authentication and to remember preferences.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Revyu service.
- To send appointment reminders, confirmations, follow-ups, and review requests on behalf of Revyu business owners to their customers who have opted in.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To respond to support requests.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and technical problems.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. SMS Text Messaging
Revyu sends SMS text messages on behalf of businesses to their end customers. Consent for SMS is collected as follows:
- End customers explicitly opt in when booking an appointment through a Revyu-powered business, by checking a consent checkbox on the booking form.
- Business owners or agents may add customers manually only after obtaining verbal or written consent.
- End customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Opt-out is processed automatically.
No sharing of consent data: Mobile opt-in information, phone numbers, and consent records are not shared with any third parties for their marketing purposes. Data is used only to deliver the communications you or your business have authorized.
4. How We Share Information
We share limited information only with service providers who help us operate Revyu:
- Twilio Inc. — for delivering SMS messages.
- Supabase Inc. — for secure database hosting.
- Vercel Inc. — for web hosting.
- Stripe Inc. — for payment processing.
- Google LLC (Workspace) — for business email.
Each provider is bound by contract to use your information only for the purpose of delivering their service to Efficienex. We do not sell your personal information.
We may also disclose information if legally required (subpoena, court order, or to protect rights and safety).
5. Data Retention
We retain business account information for as long as your Revyu account is active. If you close your account, we retain data for up to 90 days for backup and legal purposes, then delete it.
End customer opt-out records are retained indefinitely to prevent messages being sent to those who have unsubscribed.
6. Your Rights
- Access: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: You can update your information from within your Revyu account, or contact us.
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing support@efficienex.com.
- Opt-out of SMS: Reply STOP to any SMS you receive.
- Opt-out of marketing email: Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, encrypted password storage, database row-level security, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Children's Privacy
Revyu is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. International Users
Efficienex is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to active account holders and posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
